The Horn Lectureship Series Presents: “Making a Future for our Past: Student Research at the Institute of Archaeology and the Siegfried Horn Archaeological Museum” by Robert Bates, Ph.D., and his students from Andrews University. The event will take place on Monday, April 13, at 7 pm in the Seminary Chapel. Co-curricular credit will be offered. The event is free and open to the public.

The actual digging will take place May 26-July10, 2015. Most people will depart from Chicago on May 21 and return July 12 or 13.
The Figurines of Tall Jalul Exhibit Now Open
The Figurines of Tall Jalul Exhibit is now open to the public. The ceramic figurines are part of a Late Iron Age II/Persian Period (8th – 6th century BC) material assemblage, and were uncovered during Andrews University excavations from 1992-2012. The exhibit, which is located in the Horn Museum’s Madaba Plains Project Hall, will run until April 30. For more information please call 269-471-6180.
