Horn Museum

The Siegfried H. Horn Museum, part of the Institute of Archaeology at Andrews University, has reopened. It is currently open to the public on Saturdays from 3:00-5:00 pm when the university is in session (closed during Summer and Winter breaks). Our exhibits can also be viewed by appointment only during normal Institute office hours (9:00 am-5:00 pm Mon-Thur, and 9:00 am-noon Fri). To set up an appointment, please email horncurator@andrews.edu or call 269-471-6180.

We house over 8,500 ancient Near-Eastern artifacts, including coins, pottery, sculptures, tools, weapons, figurines, jewelry, seals, and glass vessels. The museum also sponsors a lecture series and houses over 3,000 ancient cuneiform tablets from Sumerian times through the Achaemenid period. Read about our history.
