MPP @ 50 and the Horn Lectureship Series Present:
“The Spade Confirms the Book Revisited” by Dr. Randall Younker, with a response by Dr. Lawrence T. Geraty.
2017 marks 50 years since the beginning of the Madaba Plains Project, a major milestone in the Adventist archaeological community. This lecture will revisit Siegfried H. Horn’s landmark publication The Spade Confirms the Book, and will examine the role of archaeology in Biblical studies today.
